There’s no emoticon to describe how I feel about Benedict not getting the BAFTAs. There is, however, a gif:
But oh well. I say he didn’t get the award, but I will never say he lose. He wins, forever, because of what he has done with that role and for what that role has done for him and his career. So he doesn’t get an award, fine. But that means nothing on his performance and his brilliance as an actor.
We, the fans, also win, because at least for me, finding Sherlock and Benedict has meant I have been introduced to many more series and movies with him and Martin, that are worth more than a million awards.
